SSAE16 SOC2/SOC3 Certification
Why this is important to you
The cornerstone of any business relationship is trust. Without this you can expose your business to varying degrees of unnecessary risk. With more and more business being transacted over the internet, it becomes increasingly difficult to know who you are dealing with.
As a leading 1099 tax form service provider, establishing a trusting relationship is the first thing we need to do for our customers. The promise that your data will be secure and protected while in our custody is backed up by an annual audit performed on our organization by an independent CPA firm.
The Trust Service Principles
Our audit consists of a Service Organization Control (SOC2/SOC3) Report, conducted by Plante Moran, the nation’s 11th largest certified public accounting firm. SOC2 reporting is an objective and detailed evaluation of the following:
- Processing Integrity
Our report indicates that underlying controls that demonstrate adherence to the principles were found to be adequate and functioning correctly. No exceptions were found and a clean opinion was issued.
Our SOC2 report is available to customers and prospective customers upon execution of a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement.
Our SOC3 report is a summary version that documents assurances on controls related to the above principles but without the detailed description of tests and results contained in the SOC 2 report. Our SOC 3 report is available here – 2015 SOC 3 PDF.
Making the right choice…
Selecting a 1099 outsourcing provider should not be a leap of faith. Whether you are providing confidential data or migrating an important business process outside of your organization – you need to know that we here at Tab Service Company are up to the task. The SOC2/SOC3 reporting provides you that peace of mind.
